The Pā is a community wellness centre in the heart of the Kaeo township. It was formed to support and promote healthier lifestyles for the residents of the wider Whangaroa rohe. The Pā is available to everyone in the area who wants to come along.
The name “The Pā” was given to pay homage to where the centre is situated, at the foot of the historical Pā site known as Pōhue Pā as well as to invoke a greater sense of whanaungatanga and kinship to the people of Kaeo/Whangaroa.
