The teaching garden at Whangaroa Health Services grows food for our residents at Kauri Lodge. It is also a space for learning and sharing knowledge about gardening and how to use our produce to cook healthy kai.
We would love more volunteers to help in the garden and if you and your whānau would like to become a part of the teaching garden, get in touch by emailing garden@whst.org.nz
Also see our events page for upcoming workshops. They are a great opportunity to meet other people, to learn new skills and to find out more about us. Those workshops are free of charge to residents of the Whangaroa rohe. See you there.
