As an introduction my name is Edward Beattie one of the newly elected trustees and Maori representative and deputy chairman to the WHST board.
Its trying times as changes to the WHST trustee board members implement and administer its proposed health provision of services strategy.
Similarly with the take over of the Whangaroa Health Clinic operations by the new nominated Whanau Ora Community Health services where future health service delivery does have effective transparency.
The board has a huge amount of colatory work to negate through to keep an open mind into growth & development around its infrastructure with its Policy & Processes to align with all its current and future health Funded contracts.
There needs to be a settling period that would allow what consitutes a viable operation where a more viable strategic approach would emphasise meeting the health needs of Whangaroa Aged Care and Community Outreach Health Service facilities.
The Whangaroa Community at large will be communicated to and up dated on current issues that pose a threat to any progressive both positives/negatives, through the vision of representative health groups where from time to time their input would have consideration.
Effective decision making is the key to also working with and being part of the new (Mahi Tahi) Hapu/Iwi health providers Collective entity where shared information is crucial to enhance quality deliver of the best health services for our people.
